What fragrances did we get for Christmas?

My go to at the moment are Dior Sauvage, PR 1 Million & CK Euphoria.

My classics are Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey & Dior Fahrenheit.

I find sauvage a bit teenagery and creed is ok but really overpriced. I can’t decide if I love or hate Tom Ford , so for now I keep going back to Armani Stronger with you and Mont Blanc Explorer.

I've never understood the attraction of either Invictus or Fahreheit. On me both smell horrendous in my opinion.

My favourite is Neroli Portafino followed by Acqua Di Parma but I refuse to pay ridiculous prices for any fragrance.

I use dupes from the Essence Vault which are amazing and long lasting at a fraction of the cost.

I have a few favourites, I like to try and avoid ones that are too famous cos I don't like to smell too much like other people if I can avoid it. So even though I like Eau d'Issey, for example, I don't wear it often any more. But I do often go for the limited edition variants (Eau Bleu d'Issey, Issey Intense).

At the moment I'm enjoying Extrême de Bulgari, Kenzo Jungle and oddly enough there's a few of the Primark 'copycat' fragrances that get good feedback when I wear them, the only downside with those is they don't last very long.

Google perfume parlor, they use the proper formulation for perfumes and aftershave and use more oil than alcohol, so you can get any aftershave and it will smell stronger last longer and cost about £15, I got a family member a bottle of

Clive Christian x, that costs in the shop about £1200, they do small roll on tester bottle, that will last you for months for only £4 trust me, the best find ever

I've said more times than I care to remember, Bleu Chanel never seems to let me down, and gets the comments every time. It was even noticed by an ex Chanel rep once in Gran Canaria, as she told her mum and sister, "That man's wearing Bleu Chanel, I'd recognise that fragrance anywhere." So if it's working, no need to mend it.

It entirely depends on the man. I discovered this when I was hooked on the smell of a particular aftershave on my first boyfriend but when I bought it for a later boyfriend, it just wasn't the same. It's the same with perfume. I guess it's how it reacts with your personal skin chemistry or something.

One of my current partners wears sauvage for special occasions and it smells amazing on him. A guy I used to date actually wore a diesel perfume that wasn't a feminine one and it smelt amazing. He was a bit shy telling me when I asked what it was

That's why it's recommended you don't buy fragrance for other people because it's completely different for different people.

I think so. I have friends who's perfume smells great but I don't like it on myself. I'm quite fussy with my own perfume. It smelling nice isn't enough,it needs to suit me too.

It's for this exact reason I am still yet to find a perfume I really like for myself, my current ones are Nina Ricci Luna les gourmadies and Belle but I'm going off of those.

For men I love the smell of Dior Sauvage, which is what C uses but I have a particular soft spot for Paco Rabanne One Million if the skin is dark. With One Million the darker the skin the better it smells

I have all the creeds, they ok but not my faves and so expensive. Personal opinion on G Irish T ? I wore it on a date recently and was told it smells like gay men’s aftershave , it didn’t put me off it at all, but I can see what she means.

I really can’t make my mind up about any of the Tom Ford, they’re also fairly expensive. I think on a date could be dangerous / off putting

I’m gonna try Prada graphite because you like Creed and Tom Ford.

What do you think of Armani - Stronger / intensely ?

Will be checking out molten brown ones too , I have a load of samples , they are good

I go to those perfume shop stores, there are two usually close together and they have to beat each other & the best online price you show them on your phone. Or the airport but they can be a rip off. For creeds, John Lewis was cheaper than anywhere

I'm a huge Sauvage fan. I love the EDT version's ultra clean, synthetic vibe. I wear it almost every day and find it just fits my overall look really well. The EDP is great too - it moves away from the synthetic smell of the original and has more of a vanilla fruity smell which is great for dates (and Fab meets

I also love Sauvage Elixir, but it's probably not to everyone's tastes and it's definitely not a daily fragrance. It's got this super dense feeling to it, although it still manages to be pretty fresh somehow. This is one I keep for special occasions.

I've tried a lot of other brands but I keep coming back to Dior. Their fragrances have great longevity, and although they're expensive I think they're worth paying extra for.

Don't really buy them anymore - no need in recent times. I got a gift of some Sauvage body spray year ago - still got it.

Thanks for the tip! I was lucky enough to get to a big Dior counter in Glasgow recently and tried a few from the Private Collection. Vanilla Diorama and Santal Noir really stood out to me, but I'm not ready to spend that much just yet
