I appreciate not every one smokes but what’s the big deal with some one being a smoker if they are respectful enough to not smoke around some one they are attracted too. Maybe Evan could be a reason to quit??

Sorry just thinking out loud ??

They might taste different. Slightly bitter in my experience. Could be a big deal for some.

Personally it's not the smoking, it's the smell and I don't mean to be offensive, I'm an ex smoker.. I know, I know the worst kind lol but the smell was my main motivation for stopping in 2013. You think it's gone if you don't smoke for a bit but it's really not. Some won't be bothered by it but some are.

I don't like the smell or the taste.

If he doesn't smell or taste of smoke then I'd happily meet him

The smell makes me gag and can also trigger of headaches for me. Even if they don’t smoke near me it still permeates skin, hair and clothes and lingers around no matter how much you try to get rid of it.

Also kissing a smoker leave a bitter taste in my mouth and same with cum.

The truth is that the smell and taste of smoke on someone's breath can't be eliminated with mints, toothpaste or refraining from smoking for an hour or two. So for a casual hook up I'd prefer not to meet smokers.

We gave up over thirty years ago but I still sometimes dream about it and could really enjoy a smoke occasionally.

Ok cool I’m seeing it’s the smell and the taste that’s the major dislike. So if a interest/partner would be willing not to smoke long enough before meeting could that be an option??

What would you say is long enough ?

I've met with people that don't smoke and said they won't meet smokers, even had a relationship with one of them. Sometimes people go against what their profile says if they like you enough.

I'm trying to quit soon though as been doing it since was a teen.

Nah sorry, don't think smokers realise it comes out their pores and it's vile.

No amount of mints or mouthwash gets rid, it's like kissing a cammels ass

They taste of smoke.

Even worse, smoke flavoured with mint chewing gum.

Now I love a BBQ and smoke smell, but not from someone.

Even then they could put a jacket on they hadn't worn for a while and the smell is engrained.

For me it’s the lingering smell and taste. You don’t realise as a smoker just how strong both are to non-smokers

It doesnt matter if they dont smoke prior to a meet - the taste of it is still there regardless. I could never go with a smoker. I can remember when I was a young teenager, kissing a girl who smoked, and the taste and smell was absolutely disgusting. I cannot think of anything more vile than putting my tounge in someones mouth that tastes if fags - its always a dealbreaker for me. It doesnt matter how attractive someone is, if they smoke, its a non-starter.

Also, whats even worse than just the taste and smell of fags from someone, is if they have been drinking alcohol or coffee - even just the thought of that makes me want to be sick!

FWB is a smoker but had he not told me I'd never have known. He never smells of it and I've never tasted it either, not even that weird taste to his cum.

I don't rule out meeting smokers but if someone tastes of smoke I do find it off putting and it probably won't go further than that end-of-social kiss.

I am a smoker and I ask anyone that is s potential meet, even if they say they will meet smokers if they are ok kissing me etc as I met someone for a social and I hadn't asked and he knew I smoked (didn't on the social as he wasn't) and found out after he doesn't like kissing people who have had a smoke, even though his profile said he will meet smokers, so now I make sure.

It’s not at all a deal breaker for me, if I find someone attractive I wouldn’t not want to meet up just because they like to have a few Dunhills. Lol

They could end up being your perfect partner.

After a few minutes of them not smoking I’ve not really noticed any difference in how they smell or taste.

Can't remember what preference I've got on the profile, but I'm a former smoker who could easily be tempted into a bit of social puffing, and I'd rather not...and I got experience of being with someone who was a chain smoker, simply had to have one literally every other minute. She was the first time I'd been irritated by another with the habit

So I get the turn off
