When do you switch off your lights?

5 Jan or 6 Jan or Twelfth Night?

Nearer than you think

5th Jan. My dad died on the 6th, so I prefer to get all the frivolous decorations out of the way the day before. Not sure why; he loved Christmas.

5th Jan for lights. Most other stuff is put away before then. We don't put decorations up until around 22/23rd anyway

Aha! I know that! - but there is often some controversy about when exactly is 12th night! Thank goodness we are not either in Russia or the Island of Foula (Shetlands)!
