Very likely to be in bed, either asleep or reading one of the backlog of subscription magazines that come through my letterbox.

If new year in this hemisphere occurred in midsummer I could well be keener on partying and celebrating with a naked midnight swim.

Pragmatism dictates that at this time of year being tucked up in bed beats going out!
