... and what are your plans? It was the thread on when we were our happiest that made me think of my plans to havea Harley next year - silly some might say at my age but hey...

What are YOU looking forward to next - does not matter how mad it might sound - I am curious?

Manchester

I'm looking forward to my youngest being in school full time next year so I can resume my career. Although I may keep up the ann summers as a side line, it's the funniest job I've ever had but not a realistic career move unfortunately.

I'm also enjoying watching my older girls bloom into funny, beautiful, intelligent young ladies. But the the attention the oldest is already getting from boys...grrr lol

That is a real life stage when they are all off to school and you can resume a bit of your own life. And it is so lovely to see them grow into independent people. I would personally rate being able to have time with kids, watch them grow up over an amazing career anyday as you can always have a career when they start school but you cannot get back the time with them when they are young.

Too true. With the older ones we were poor wether I worked or not so choose to stay at home with a couple of mornings volunteer work. Fortunately with the youngest we were in a position where I didn't have to work, although I did try to juggle both for 6mths but felt I was missing out on so much with her so made the decision to stay at home again. I appreciate every day how lucky I am to be in this position but am starting to get itchy feet now!!
