I’m very different physically since I was dating women and I’ve been concentrating on being physical with men only since I began making the changes.

I’m ready for a relationship again now and it’s just seems impossible to find. I’m looking away from here for the record.

When you've given up on it, when you really can't be arsed to try again. When you decide no more relationships and maybe sex only. When you decide that you're self sufficient, know where you're at, and you're done.... that is when it'll happen.

I think its dating in general, I have given up too. Met plenty of women off vanilla dating sites and usually turns bad after a few dates, more relaxed and then suddenly the mask slips. Im old school and always will be, I pay for nights out, open doors and pull out chairs etc etc. Maybe frowned on these days but just making a point that no matter what I do either it's just as bad for males too. Hope you get what you're looking for Rachel as I believe everyone deserves to have that someone to love and love them x

I find it hard met a lady who wants more than chat or even get chat messages started.

Last time was single 8yrs ago was so easy to meet chat and date, now it’s impossible been on sites for 4 months and get no likes or messages and when do they vanish or want paying.

I’m not so interested in ‘boring’ but old school I can do.

I love ironing a shirt then watching him button it up with his biceps bulging and a glint in his eye.

Opening the car door for me to get in is nice too. I have no issue with these things.

I pay my own way though. I’m financially stable if not mentally! I jest, as I think I’m very down to Earth.

I wear my heart on my sleeve and I love with passion.

I get that some people don’t understand people like me and if they’re unwilling to learn, that’s fine. It hurts though.

I met a man I’d chatted on video with several times. He came across as naturally cautious so I decided to actually let him meet me and see me in person for the woman I am before revealing my history.

Even after, he still kept telling me I was beautiful and so special. He still saw me as very attractive and fun but he couldn’t progress things as he felt my being trans would always bother him.

I mistakenly got as far as oral sex with a man recently who I only later realised didn’t know my past. When I mentioned it he was gob smacked; ‘but I went down on you.,.’ Yes folks; the surgery really is that good!

I’ve been single two years. Not all that long, I know. And there’s been this bug going round.

I get lonely.

My best friend has been the mistress to a married man for nearly six years. She moans about it but still gets taken out twice a week. Chats to him on the phone several times a day. She has someone special even if it’s not perfect.

I have no one to share my day with. No one to hold me at night. No one to go out on a date with.

There’s so much more to life than sex

I did have that children conversation with a guy I met via online dating…. I’m 52!!!!!! I wouldn’t be having kids at my age even if I had a womb!

There seems to be more variables that people are happier with nowadays, guys or girls appear to want a FB, FWB or anything that's more casual without the commitment of a relationship.

Thing is being on dating sites or fab if you do find someone special they may appear up for commitment but if their profile is active they're more likely to see greener grass.

Internet dating in many ways might seem easier but I think creates its own dramas too so I've so far stayed away, that said I would love to find someone special so I'm just going to have to find out myself...

I'm quite sure its happened to me but not entirely sure.

Its a bit like seeing a beautiful diamond ring in a jewelers window, you express interest and drop a deposit or maybe buy it outright. Yet no matter how much you think its yours you don't get to take it home...it stays in the window still sparkling and attracting others and who knows, maybe a better looking buyer comes?

I have dated trans women in the past, and if anything, the journey they had been on, fascinated me.

I probably asked too many questions!

I’m not aware my sense of smell has changed. I know my body odour quickly became female, especially down there. More so now I have a vagina!

I think in reality there comes a point when you get so tired of games and bs over the years that your tollerance drops and dare I say, you become more fussy. (in an already small pool of emotionally available men. That certainly seems to be my issue.

I don't know what the answer is, perhaps the not looking is the secret, but that's hard, I don't want to give up hope.

I find this interesting. From knowing various straight M and F.

M- Sometimes dont mean to come across as direct, however F can take this to heart.

F- I know a lot that are very demanding of their partners. It's their way or no way. They treat them like second best. Tell them to be more romantic etc, however don't tell them what they like.

Moral of the story - learn to listen-not hear what you want to hear/choose to hear and communicate between each other better.

Have completely given up on dating apps. I think with the internet people have lots of options and choice, and people are flaky. I’ve never dated as I was with my ex partner for 20 years but it’s a fucking scary world. Haven’t found anyone on the same page as me or wanting any commitments. X

M- Sometimes dont mean to come across as direct, however F can take this to heart.

F- I know a lot that are very demanding of their partners. It's their way or no way. They treat them like second best. Tell them to be more romantic etc, however don't tell them what they like.

Moral of the story - learn to listen-not hear what you want to hear/choose to hear and communicate between each other better.

As a girlfriend, I’ve been told I’m a breath of fresh air. No silent treatment or unexplained moods.

I’m very open about my feelings and encourage my man to talk openly too.

I still don’t understand the male psyche very well but I do pander to their egos when required.

My elevated hormone levels do make me even more emotional than I used to be though; who knew that was possible?!
