Not trying to be negative or anything just telling my experience, but I generally think I'm having a much harder time on this site because I'm short. I'm sure there's other factors to it, but outside of the forums, my interactions with people have been just difficult. And with 80% profiles asking for guys to be muscular and 5’10 or above, I feel hopeless that I can have a genuine connection with someone here.

I think I have a similar problem to you though, I’m not many men’s cup of tea because I’m so tall.

I have a completely irrational aversion to shorter men. I know it is irrational and unfair, but it is because the two guys I've dated who were shorter than me were abusive narcissists and made my life hell. One still tries.

So I won't meet men who are shorter than me.

And I'm aware that not all shorter guys are the same. I also, however, have twice "given a short guy a chance" (their words, not mine) and they've turned out to be complete arseholes. So I'm sticking to my guns.

Saying that, one of my favourite men is shorter than me and he is an absolute diamond. So it absolutely isn't all shorter guys.

Sadly, OP, there are a lot of women with a lot of reasons for not meeting a lot of men. And height will always be a reason. Same as the tall women often find shorter guys won't meet them.

Well if someone finds him attractive finds him decent and genuine. I don't think height comes in to it really. Obviously some prefer tall but if all his other attributes tick your box but he just happens to be short, big deal.

It should and is a factor, everyone is welcome to have their preferences. My point is that a lot of women care about height which is fair, but it makes it more difficult for shorter men regardless of how hard they try or not.

So I'd maybe challenge the belief to some extent. Possible confirmation bias?

And I'd ignore the fuck out of it. Not much you can do. And at least you know not to message. Time saver !!

To be honest , until you can accept your own height and the fact some (not all) people have preferences it doesn't matter what anyone says to you, you will always walk around with this opinion in your own mind!

You say you're happy with your height but I honestly believe 100% you are not fully. Hence this post.
