Please do not say hard/wet!

On a more emotional level - how would you like people to come away from the meeting you. Ideally! Answers on the postcard...

I’d hope people who do meet me feel relaxed, have a good laugh and go away smiling

Ideally? Like they wouldn't mind talking to me again/further - that's a sign you've had a good conversation with someone. That they've been listened to, rather than just heard.

I don't really think too much about it, first time I think I have. How others view you will always be with their own perceptions/biases/life experiences so you can't control too much of it bar not being a knob.

That depends on the person and the type of interaction, a professional meeting would be vastly different to a friend. Also any preconceived ideas they may have about me and their own personal bias and previous experiences may alter their view. Heck, even what mood they're in at that particular time could affect it. I guess what I'm trying to say is there's not much I can do to alter someone's perception of me unless I'm going to be a complete fake, all I can do is act as I deem appropriately in any given situation and people will judge me as they see fit.

Well it depends - if it’s a guy I’ve just had a meet with - they’re generally exhausted and grateful to get out alive!

When chatting/socialising - I guess I like new acquaintances to think they’ve just met someone they could be friends with. I’m fairly uncomplicated.

Doesn't matter if it's a high level work meeting or a homeless person on the streets that I am talking too as long as I can make them feel listened to, both interactions are the same and of equal value.

Great question, OP and maybe one we should consider when meeting people (in any scenario. not just FAB)

I hope during the meeting people feel relaxed, genuinely listened to and perhaps a bit energised in my company.

When they walk away, I would hope they feel that they did not waste their time, irrespective of what happens afterwards e.g. another meeting or whether or not they will ever meet me again.

I suppose I wasn't specific enough. I didnt consider much those other factors. Do you mean that no matter how we want to come across people might see and digest us in a way different to what we intended? I intended for us to make a blissful wish.. what would be the ideal memory of the encounter with someone on a personal level.
