Cremation for me, medical research can have anything off me except my heart, that will always belong to my hubby.

Whilst still alive you should let your kids decide...then you'll know how much they actually love you lol!

Do you know you have to fill all sorts of forms in to give your body to the scientists???

How are you meant to fill the forms in when your dead??? Lol

I have been on the donor register since my late teens early twenties and that hasn't ever changed. If any part of me is of any use to another soul they are welcome to it, it's of no use to me when I'm gone.

However the older and more beat-up I get, the less likelihood there will be of my organs or body parts still being worth donating!

Don't much care, I hope I won't be using the body any more at the time... leave the husk for the family to do what they want with it.

Worrying about disposal method is a bit like driving past an old home and worrying about how the new owners have decorated it

i have been watching a tv programme on bbc2 called dead good job. it is all about funeral directors and how they work.

it is very informitive about your choices of how you wish your final goodbye to go. check it out on iplayer i reccommend it

Definately cremation. Burials take up too much space and I believe your plot is only guaranteed for 99 years. After that they can dig you up and re-bury elsewhere. Much better to have my ashes scattered somewhere nice. After their loved ones are buried, some people feel tied to the area where they are buried and wont move out of the area should a good opportunity arise.

They can take what they want from me, if any part of my body can be used to help someone else then id like them to use it

After that i dont care, cremation is the way forwards tho, cant keep putting people in the ground, there will be more cemeteries than new housing estates at this rate lol

And take some of it with a pinch of salt there's laws in funerals they say very little about some things on there . Not everything is said .. You know last week that lady done her husbands funeral would have cost her 1000s for the green site not grave yard and her coffin 100s , making out cost not alot .They don't go into the in s and outs .. on tv .

A few years ago, some chap in America contracted a terminal illness. He informed his wife that he had made arrangements with his lawyer to oversee his funeral and cremation. He also told her that he wanted to be of use after his death. A few weeks after his cremation the lawyer turned up at the wife's door with a package. When she opened it, there was a very large egg timer with finely ground ash inside!!

lol i am always late so i would come back from dead if thay put me in a egg timer , And sort them out .
