"The Night Circus. Well rereading it anyway. A wise man said to me everyone needs their soul nourishing once in a while and he's right. I've read so many texts over the years. Hastily pored over, soon forgotten. So rather than starting a new book, I've decided to embrace the soothing and fantastical writing of Morgenstern once more. Soul nourishment is good. Next I'm reading something apt for the new year - The Body Is Not An Apology. " What's the 2nd book about Meli? The title has caught my interest.

"Next I'm reading something apt for the new year - The Body Is Not An Apology. What's the 2nd book about Meli? The title has caught my interest. " Radical self love. Not apologising for existing, for being you. I've not yet read it but I'm going from the blurb. My little sister got it for me as a Christmas present, she's very much about being you, warts and all. I tend to be a bit erm... not on board with that type of text but I'm removing the stick from my arse and embracing it all.

"I find the breadth of what everyone reads to be fascinating! I just finished 'Girl, Woman, Other' by Bernardine Evaristo. I didn't think i would enjoy it, but was was very interesting... The book introduces us to 12 black women and we learn the story of their lives, background, family and their sex life! I have a much greater understanding of non-binary gender too as a result.. It was a wonderfully written book and i would definitely recommend it" I've read that too..well worth a read. Totally agreex

" I don’t know how far along the path you are, but I might be inclined to start with Brene Brown, Glennon Doyle or Rebecca Campbell (any of theirs that appeal), but really they have to be something that speak to you. Mary Magdalene revealed is a fantastic book as well, and one I listened to on Audible, as it’s read by the author.

"I’m re reading “Mother Tongue” by Bill Bryson. It’s a history of the English language and explains some of the absurdities that non native speakers have to try and understand. It sounds heavier than it is! He’s quite an amusing writer. Gbat " I've read several of his books, very funny guy and also quite deprecative of his home nation. His book about walking the Appalatchian trail is well worth reading too.

"Hopefully you've had chance to catch up on some good books over the holidays, or maybe santa brought you some new ones What book are you currently reading, or just finished? Did you like it, would you recommend it? What have you got lined up next? " Currently reading 'Sextant', about the development of celestial navigation, the instruments and its impact on early voyages of discovery. Also a good one to hold/put down strategically when in a coffee shop. Not that I'd do such a thing of course.
