Who’s back to work today?

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

I’m still on holidays until the new year

I might do a little work so it doesn’t back up too. Far, but all in all I am still with my feet up having a good time f’kers!!!

*I am actually going out-out tomorrow

I do feel for those who have to go in for a day or two in between, sometimes I think it’s pointless.

Still off and searching for stuff to do. I was meant to be somewhere nice and hot for the Xmas period but changed plans as could not be bothered with all the stress with tests, restrictions, uncertainty and such like. I am probably going shopping later for stuff I don't really need as weather not particularly great for anything else.

We lost the meaning of the 12 days of Christmas along the way didn’t we? I get the emergency services are needed, but do we really’need’ everything to get back to ‘normal’ so quickly? Can’t we have time to relax after just once a year?

I hear you... And some Supermarkets were closed Boxing day, which was wonderful to hear.

I've realised I'm a person of routine, so get abit when I have to switch off for too long I suppose?

Jeez cant imagine what It b like after that long! We shut the extra day this year! Customers were in those doors soon as they opened at 8! Like vultures grabbing the £6 fresh turkeys like their lives depended on them! And not just the one greedy buggers! We all like a bargain! But really? Leave some for others? X
