Monday Mental Health Check In (27.12)

Good morning, how are we all feeling now we’re in this no-man’s land between Christmas and New Year?!

I’m not too bad so far today, just some low level anxiety but I haven’t been awake too long so there’s still time! Yesterday my health anxiety was out to play so I’ll have to see how today goes. Tomorrow is going to be stressful, we’re visiting family in the midlands, my parents are elderly and my dad has Parkinson’s so it’s always quite upsetting to see him (as well as lovely of course) and we’re taking the dogs with us and I’m worrying they won’t behave in my sister’s house - we’re also staying over! As well as that I have my first uni assignment to do for 11th Jan so that’s also bringing some stress.

So how are things for you? How are you feeling? As always the option to reply is emojis is also there x

Taken a bit of a nose dive this morning. Just need to get outside for a bit to level things out

Considering I wasn't at all looking forward to christmas this year, I had a pleasant enough day and Boxing Day was spent with a box set and eating nibbles.

I am pretty well at the start of this strange period between Christmas and New Year although do now feel the urge to go out and will venture tomorrow

I hope everyone else has been ok.

Thanks for the thumbs up! Yeah I honestly didn't know how I'd feel this year and its my brother's anniversary in a few days time so I've booked both the Friday and the Monday off as unsure how I'll react.
