Not very much, I'll go without for a couple of weeks then have about 6 in one week. It depends what comes up.

December was a bad month for drinking.

Few years ago decided to alternate months, then it turned into alternate years. Evens off. Odd on.

The correct term would be ‘hiatus’. Quitting suggests a permanence, which would be precluded by the aforementioned planned resumption.

Google it…it’s a rave and bingo - it’s bonkers…Cookie won a bag on onions when she went and one of my friends won a mobility scooter.

It sounds right up our street…

"Sooo... After all the excesses of the last couple of days and then NYE still to come, who is thinking about doing dry January and giving their liver a break?

Is it too soon "

I usually don't drink too much, either way, It's good to start the year with a bit of detox and maybe join the gym more often!

Dryish

Drier than December.

Probably just a glass or two of wine on Saturday night.

Part of “these troosers safe too fucking tight, and I’m not buying bigger ones” January.

... eat a bit better, drink a bit less, exercise a bit more, less nights out. Nothing drastic, but keep it up for jan and Feb and get SOMETHING out of those shitty winter months

Never see the dry January thing as possible as most people have a drink to toast the NY.

So you already break it.

I did dry Feb a couple of years ago.

Now I am 90%dry so not an issue.

Dry January is OK but personally I prefer lots of lube, real or artificial as without it life can become quite painful, especially as we get older!
