Our Christmas has somewhat changed since having covid, my kids were meant to be arriving yesterday but had to make do with watching one open his presents through the window and the other will be spending Christmas alone in his room in London which breaks my heart. Doughnuts kiddies cant come down on boxing Day for the week they were meant to meaning he doesn't see them and their mum doesn't get a break she was really hoping for.

So Christmas will be just me, doughnut and our baby (kitten). At least I don't feel rubbish ATM, we will celebrate when safe to do so.

Merry Christmas Danish x

Christmas day I will arrive home from work, have a coffee then go to bed. When I wake up I will probably do some housework, have a bath then head back out to work.

If I was off then I would have my mum staying so it would be lazy with real food to eat.

Wirral

Nice long lie-in in the morning, probably haul my arse out of bed at noon.

Out for dinner with my mum, then home for an evening on my own in front of the telly eating cheese and drinking whatever I can reach without moving too far.

Pretty much a normal evening for me

Hard work NC

Very nearly lost Mum a couple of weeks ago, but she seems to have pulled round and is pretty much back to being as well as she can be given the circumstances

Managed to get Dad a brain scan last week, so one step closer to a formal diagnosis with that

Work have allowed me to wfh, so I've been there 7am til 10pm pretty much every day

It's a slog, but until Mum goes then it's what we've got

After then, I think Dad will need to either go into care or move in with me

I just need to decide if I do want that commitment cos it could go on for years, cos his physical health is apparently very good for a man in his mid 80's

Thank You for asking x

St Kitts Christmas Day…we suspect it won’t be snowing

We have been lucky enough with the way our child care has fallen to get away for Christmas and we are making the most of it.

Hoping to be on the beach. Whatever we do, it'll be in Tenerife anyway. Bought a bit of turkey and am going to attempt a quasi-Christmas dinner in our hotel kitchen but otherwise, we shall mainly be loafing about in the sun
