Who's lonely on Christmas I was one of them people who loved Christmas, I made it as special as I could for everyone around me bit over the years my life changed and people passed and I moved away, now I wake up alone on Christmas day see bits of my family for a short period of time and I feel like I'm sat around waiting for friends to finish what they are doing just so I can go have a beer,

Abit of a sobby one I know,

It's different for everyone. Sometimes even people who can have it all prefer a quiet one. However nobody should feel lonely and I am so sorry you do. Of course there are lits of lonely people around and I hope that each of us try to give a little of our time to orher people. I hope that you find ways to pass the day and then get back to your routine again. I do wish you all the very best.

Well pubs are generally open, when alone I used to pop to the local just to be out of the house.

If you're on Twitter then Sarah Millican started the #joinin as there are loads of people in the same boat.

Don't dwell on being alone, don't sit about, there's stuff to do out of the house so change the focus from being alone and try and enjoy the calm before 2022 reboot

Delightful Bliss

I'm on my own at Xmas this year so I've made the effort to join up with other people on their own and I ended up with a spiderman date on Sunday

Life is what you make it, get off your arse and join in.

As always, I'm working Christmas day. I will be the only face my patients see all day.

Breaks my heart to know that once I've gone, those people won't speak to another soul till boxing day when I go back

That's it, always someone worse off. Well done you for all the care you give to those in need. And have a good one yourself too.

Xmas can be a lonely time. I will be working a 12hr shift on Xmas day and my partner will be home alone as we have no close friends or relatives. At work I shall be on my own and doubt I will see a soul all day

I genuinely don't think anyone is worse off than anyone else. I think we all have our own troubles and we feel how we feel.

It's why I work Christmas every year. I'm alone. So I get my Christmas love by seeing people that are alone. If I can give 30 minutes of laughs and smiles to 10 plus elderly people, it removes my loneliness
