clichè

so, I'm many things in my life, one that features in this kinda site is my x-dressing. It takes a tiny part of my time, is great fun and I'll be damned if i apologise or worry about it.

But

i can't and won't wear the tranny uniform...you know; suspenders and heels , fake boobies and 'slut' or 'sissy' in my profile.

maybe id look okey in suspenders and heels, maybe i have a little sissy in me, maybe i can be a bit slut, but i just won't or can't bring myself to conform to the clichè.

i know I'm a contrary kinda person so I'm happy to take my own path , and buck the trend (with no anti to those who do that thing)

It's mine and i do it my way.

Question is, what cliché do you avoid, or embrace ? Even when maybe it puts you out of the loop

or maybe because it puts you In the loop .

x

In my younger years, when casual misogyny was normalised and more rife, I used to really struggle with the whole ‘bimbo blonde’ stereotype. I have tried to live my life proving the opposite!

Oh God yeah, that is a lazy and annoying one.

Let’s face it, we’re confused as fuck same as the rest of them.

I realise this flies in the face of my earlier blonde comment

What an excellent question! A lot to it. Clothes as identity, hypersexualisation in cross dressing, perception vs reality, cliche as crass stereotype or truism, contrarianism vs the desire to belong and how/why all of these play a part in people coming to and how they play on Fab.

Too many to answer. So will lurk instead. Hopefully not just a meta "woohoo check out my profile" post.

It's true that I try to avoid it and not true that older women know what they want and how to get it. Show me a menu with several choices of dessert and the waiters will be turning lights off and putting chairs on tables before I've decided

Try to avoid the older guy must seek younger thing, narrows the choice a little!

I embrace all of my cliches and couldn’t really give a fuck about the opinions of those that I don’t love
