I have been on fab about 4 years. My biggest problem of meeting you is getting my message read.

I understand you are all swamped by messages. I make a point of only going for the ones where i match your profiles.

What do I need to do to get my messages noticed?

It is so difficult relying solely on this site. Single women get inundated.

Why don't you get out there into the scene in person, chat to people, socialise, and you never know what will happen.

Yes definitely. OP, a good way of viewing this site is as an addition not the everything. Post in the forums, attend socials or clubs if they are more your scene. It's an easier way for men to get their face out there and enjoyable in the process.
