Somewhere In The Ether…

Good folks: What is your favourite and least favourite form of exercise?

It can be a whole type, i.e Cardio, weights etc or else you can be even more specific and list a very specific exercise, i.e Lunges, pull ups etc

Random bonus question: What is your preferred wattage in light bulbs?

I like a 100 watt bulb.

I hate every form of exercise except swimming, walking, cycling and gardening. Does yoga count as exercise? I don't mind that.

I dislike anything that feels like exercise.

I love walking/hiking with my kids and dogs because I’m just taking in nature and the views.

I love swimming because it makes me have the best nights sleep and is so relaxing.

I enjoyed kickboxing because it made me feel like Trinity from the Matrix. Same with my Tae Bo DVD’s (till I did my sciatic nerve).

I enjoy dancing because it makes me feel happy, energised and like I’m Beyoncé in her Crazy in Love days.

But exercising in a gym setting feels like a chore.

If it feels like exercise Im not keen. I couldnt go to a gym and do classes or do weights and things. I'll walk (not really run unless Im being chased by a bear) or swim that sort of thing. Happy to do a physical job then its all over and done with whilst being paid for it too

My favourite form of exercise is hill walking/trail running.

My last favourite is leaving the house in a few mins to go out on icy rain - hence procrastinating on here.

I don't have a favourite wattage- Watts are a bad measure of a lamps brightness, modern LED chips can output a huge amount of light from very low power (Watts) use. I prefer light around the 2-3000 kelvin temperature as this is far warmer than higher temps.

Oh I missed the bit about least favourite

That always used to be running but I like that now. Maybe intervals just because they're knackering but if I'm honest I still kind of like them too.

I hate any form of cardio by myself at the gym

, but I have a pt come here for weighted cardio now that’s just about bearable, and I do drum and bass cardio workouts which are fun.

But fave is the big 4 - deadlifts, squats, bench presses and shoulder presses , medium high weight, lots of sets/reps until you drop, no need for anything else, my body is proof

Is it now..it’s far more than that! I spent years training, auditioned in some very tough environments, worked my arse off to get into dance college and ballet school, but yeah it’s a piece of piss for those arrogant enough not to appreciate the art!

Favourite exercises badminton, boxing and basketball... Although I kinda fell into bball because of my height.

Least fav: golf. Not because I don't like it, just that I'm terrible at it.

Oh and I like my bulbs like my women: bright as possible

For me - least favourite is anything static - planks, gymnastic ring suspensions, L-Sits etc. - I find them boring frankly.

Favourite - at the moment it’s pelican pull ups.

Now….light bulbs; I love me a nice 60 watt; Yer can’t beat that delightful warm glow I say

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Favourites are yoga, hiking and swimming, not that I get much chance to do that sadly.

Dislikes are anything vaguely sport orientated, I can’t abide that. So, apart from sex, I’ve no interest in exercise that requires other people to be involved.
