I never really check my winks. I think it’s best to message someone you’re interested in, so as not to disappear under their radar.

I rarely send winks as it seems they don’t really get checked by a lot of people.

Maybe I should start to send them though as the amount of messages females and couples receive my messages could get lost in the pile

Never check winks and just delete every now and then. Lazy persons method to approach. Much prefer a message and always reply x

We think of them as a ‘digital glance’ - you can elect to engage the gaze or look away - they can be a time saver to ascertain if a proper message is worth the investment.

I don’t look at them, I don’t look at fabs either. I do try to respond to any messages though so long as it’s not a one word or text speak like ‘hru’ or ‘wuu2’

I check the winks but ignore 99% of them from men. Some catch my eye, sometimes because of an intriguing username or if I've noticed them on the forum.

I've sent a fair few first messages to men from the forum who've winked. What a bunch of winkers
