I'm definitely a summer person

But what's your favourite season and why ?

Omg! Thank goodness ….

“ it’s real dank” it’s the only time of year that word (Dank) gets used.

I like trees with leaves, sunshine, flowers, long daylight days

Roll on summer …… please

Winter. Without winter there’d be no snow. Without snow there would be no ski holidays.

As a practicing pagan, the Winter Solstice is one of the most important times of the year. So, although I quite like the build up to Xmas, it’s really about the shortest day for me.

Used to do a bit of snowboarding so always enjoyed the winter.

Don’t get much chance nowadays so prefer the dryer seasons, for riding my bikes

I like aspects of them all. But the middle of summer when you don't need to take a jacket "just in case" is preferable. I used to get up super early and crack an 8 mile walk out and same again in the evening

I'm not a pagan but I can see more sense in celebrating the shortest day of the year than Xmas

I like winter. I love bitterly cold but sunny days, frosty grass crunching underfoot. I love long dark evenings, staying cosy indoors, maybe sitting in front of a fire with a hot drink.

I love wearing gloves and big coats and bobble hats, men in jeans and heavy rib jumpers.

I love hearty casseroles and stews, steaming bowls of fragrant loveliness.

I love the long build-up to Christmas, then afterwards just when it seems like winter will never end you spot the first snowdrops and crocus and feel the heart-lifting joy that spring is almost here.

Nothing beats the summer for me. No need for a jacket or layers plus park dates with friends or a partner are so easy to set up

I love the dark nights, so for me, the winter solstice is sad.

Each to their own, we can't all be the same.

I like summer, but not too hot and no heat waves. Us redheads melt in summer.

I want to get my rescue bunny out on the grass. He was ignored, underfed and neglected. He's loved, cuddled and a good weight now. Typical brought for a child pet.

I hate the long dark days, getting up in the dark, and dark by tea time.

Technically, all days are the same length.

Today is the day with the shortest amount of daylight hours.

Woop! Winter solstice always gives me a sense of relief! I can start counting down to warmer longer days now! it's like a mental turning point where I can legitimately tell S.A.D to go do one!

Spring is by far my most favorite season, the promise of warmer days ,the smell of the morning dew on fresh cut grass, the sounds of the seasonal birds returning and the daylight breaking through that tiny gap in the curtains as you wake from sleep.
