If anyone wants to know how the land lied now

Following all that bollock with the Polish dude.m and him doing a runner.

The immediate Saturday night I worked 5 hours but didn’t see him. The Monday, Tuesday Friday of that week I worked in a different department and literally only saw him walking up and down the stairs to and from breaks.

I told my friend and she was livid and asking what I was gonna do and I just told her nothing and she said if all the times in my life I’ve kicked off at guys this time is definitely worthy of anger and a bit of a kick off but I got back to a feeling of not being arsed.

Monday two weeks ago was the first time I came face to face with him so I just said what was that about then when you just fucked off and he was like what what do you mean (as I type I can hear his accent in my head) I said you told me you were getting your tobacco out of the car then you drove off, when I messaged you, you said you were going to buy alcohol.

He just said look I told you I was going to fuck you hard and then I failed, I was embarrassed I had to go. Like I didn’t know hat to do with that information, I’ll never know his truth but that’s the answer he wanted to give me. I told him it was a shit thing to do, he said sorry and that was that.

I didn’t feel the need to be standoffish or anything and since then he tries to be the same like massively flirty and saying comments when I see him in work, asking to meet all the time and I just say no.

I’m happy with this dynamic, him asking and me saying no.

I had a huge huge worry with my mum a couple of weeks back when they saw a shadow on her left lung and rushed her in for a CT scan 5 days later but it had gone and was just a chest infection so that’s all sorted and fine. Just puts things into perspective. I feel like I have no tolerance to bullshit and whilst that was going on I felt like nothing else mattered so it helped me in work.

Other than that all is good and ready, waiting and excited for Xmas!

Well that’s good nothing escalated from it. It could be a lot worse or awkward so it’s a good outcome, I personally I find it best not to mix work and pleasure for that reason.

Glad your mum is fine now and it was nothing too major

I wasn’t pissed when he came down. I don’t know how else you can interpret someone putting their clothes on and saying they need to get their tobacco out the car and then driving off. I have WhatsApp messages that confirm what happened next even if my memory had failed me, simply reading the content would confirm what I said happened.

I read some of your comments when I left, most people didn’t know what you were on about but I did. My interpretation and judgement works quite well thanks. I’d really like it if you no longer commented on anything I wrote or anything about me.

I don’t think so. If a woman just had sex with a guy and then said oh hang on I need to get something from the car and then just fucked off that would be considered poor form as well. Regardless of gender to lie is not nice.

Half agree but it depends on the context

The context of feeling in danger/threatened then anyone is free to make an excuse and leave

If you feel you put in a poor performance the ascot thing to do is to discuss this with your partner and try to rectify it, not run away

Considering we work together I think what he did had the potential to create more drama as it wasn’t a case of if I’d see him again it was when I saw him again. I could’ve kicked off royally but I didn’t.

Exactly plus this had been since July all the built up flirting and stuff so to finally have him in the flesh outside of work where we could touch each other I’d expect some excitement of it finally happening. Just would’ve been good if it hadn’t gone so sour. He’s tainted himself to me now, I can’t see him the same way. In fairness Some asked for an update indirectly after OP went Unlos and last thread closed with no closure to the story.
