Seeing as there's a thread for the worst, let's share the best

We'd got chatting on one of the "ask in private, answer in public" threads. He lived a couple of hours drive away from me so we hadn't seriously thought about meeting but he was lovely and made me laugh a lot so I enjoyed the conversation.

December 2018 I was away with work and we had some great conversations while I was away, including a couple of real coincidences involving his user name and profile pic, among other things. I found myself against my better judgement agreeing to meet him in an airbnb in the lakes between Christmas and New Year. Unheard of for me to jump straight to a meet without a social, I was half convinced he would stand me up and half convinced it would all be horribly awkward.

I arrived late because I couldn't find the place, all very flustered and completely bricking it, but he was lovely and exactly how he'd been in messages. I'd had a horrible cold and was still slightly husky and a bit chesty, but he laughed it off so we decided to view it as sexy rather than wheezy.

We had a glass of wine and sat chatting and laughing for a while, but I was trying not to rip his clothes off because I really fancied him.

In one of our conversations it had come up that I'd only ever had sex in a bedroom (my sex life has been experimental in some ways but alarmingly pedestrian in others) and we spent a lot of time putting that right

It was the best meet I've had and I was sorry to come home afterwards. A month or so later he came to Liverpool and we had an equally lovely weekend there.

Sadly he's now gone UNLOS and I suspect has stepped away from swinging completely, but I have a lot of love for him and wish him nothing but happy

Mine was with someone I’m still good friends with to this day.

There’s been too many good ones to me mention over the years - I don’t have any particular favourite but I have a lot of great memories as part of a couple and flying solo. I think the over riding thing is there’s more good than bad on Fab - sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of that when we have bad meets or no shows.

I've only had good experiences luckily. The best time I had from here though didn't even involve sex. Went for a 'quick drink' with someone I'd been getting on great chatting to.
