In that case, I really prefer the

metal(ish) kind.

Been to a few "Hard Rock Hell" festi's in my time... as an ex-biker I guess that's only natural. Kind of comes with the territory.

I think that there is only one of the original members still living. Vocalist Brian Connolly died when he was only in his early fifties, basically from the excessive lifestyle of the Sweet heyday. Drummer Mick Tucker passed away from leukemia in the early 2000's. Bass player Steve Priest died last year, he was in his 70's. Guitarist Andy Scott is in his mid-seventies now but appears to still be rocking.

Pop Punk/Punk rock was my music of choice back in my college days. Drive-Thru and Vagrant were the record labels of choice. Alkaline Trio and Fenix TX were the favourites of that era of my life.

Nowadays, I'll listen to anything from Ludovico Einuadi to Lamb of God and all in between. I still go back to my youth, I grew up with Motorhead, GnR, Frank Zappa, all kinds of music!

Early 00s none of these were particularly mainstream (Foos...yeah...), those were the discovery years for many! But as it always is, the early years are the best! Dead On Arrival was the first Fallout Boy track I head, they've gone downhill since imo! Once the fanbase expands, the financial side kicks in and takes over!
