Nah the ones in ours are older than us . Pretty sure the landlord would have a hard time removing them even if he wanted to.

My parents house also inherited the trees in their garden. My dad nearly killed them a few times accidentally .

I know a chap who killed all the mature elm trees along his drive by pruning them with contaminated shears. Must have been 20-30 of them. He was gutted.

Damn that sucks. My dad was just an over enthusiastic pruner . They're still going over 20 years later though! One only grew leaves on one side for a while but seems to have recovered.

Bloody hell I never realised I had so much in my garden until now. I've just counted 8 Palm trees (Trachycarpus), a 30ft Cherry, 6 smaller Cherries, 4 Apple, a pear and 10 25ft conifers. I have dug out 10 trees this year, chopped and seasoning for the log fire.
