We've all been asked to cancel them by the Medical Director. It's understandable but sad as this is the second Christmas and I was looking forward to finally having a night out with people from this job as I started last November. Some departments that had theirs earlier managed to have them so feeling a bit put out about it .

Tell them to have a Christmas in June party. Xmas tinsel and a BBQ in the sun..

That is true. With the amount of people testing positive it does feel safer to be staying home. We're hoping to reschedule for January but I'm not sure how hopeful I am about that.

Yeah, the Doctors were supposed to have a ball. I feel for whatever venue was supposed to host that. There's hundreds of them and at their wages I imagine the bar bill is impressive

Yeah it was just a matter of timing. We were last minute organising ours to be fair.
