A physical book is preferable. I love "earning the right" to flip each page as complete reading. Also, sounds bizarre, but I love the smell of books/publications.

Kindle for portability depending whether away from home etc.

a book every time,,

no film made has been as good as the book

if you leave a book by accident in a pub it will still be there 30 mins later where a kindle or tablet will have gone,,

you can lend a book to a friend while reading another book but you cannot lend them your kindle and read another book on it at the same time..

Do books have to be 600 pages long? I sometimes feel that the author could've covered the subject or story in 200 pages. Does anybody else feel this way?

A book every time. I could be tempted to an audio book for a long drive if the narrator had a good voice. I cant read on a kindle I get no atmosphere from it, it feels to much like reading the internet.

I love a physical book. These last couple of years I’ve converted to kindle, it’s a lot cheaper and less space needed for my reading. Plus taken to audio this year, when suffered with eye problems. Soothes me to sleep most evenings without the bruises from a book

I’ve been lucky and only had to do that once. A John Grisham book I just couldn’t listen to the Deep South American monotone drawl.

I like the sensory experience of reading paper books, touch, smell etc

But have learned to love kindle books (kindle, phone tablet app) being able to carry hundreds of my favourite books in my pocket, ready for anytime I have a couple of minutes to spare.

A physical book is a special experience, but traveling with a kindle is a good, and convenient, second choice. An audio book is a different experience, which can also be extremely satisfying. Same with documentaries, where you can share the experience with others. I guess being fab members, it's all about sharing, so maybe documentaries are more appropriate here?

Anything on a screen is work related or social media!

Maybe its more environmentally friendly and space saving to have a e device to read on but i much prefer a physical book. No battery required

Books. Just the physical act of reading them, turning pages etc.

Also like my CD or DVD collection they're kinda apart of the furniture, I like being surrounded by my stuff

They're crap to hold. They don't light up at night. You can never find the one you want. Take up loads of space. And despite people going on about the 'smell of old books' they actually reek.

Apart from recipe books. They're still best as books.
