Was a little shocked as at first I just was trying to resist not getting her into bed and it became more

I did with someone who only wanted something casual which was absolutely fine but my emotions got deeper and deeper then she moved away and I was heartbroken,

It’s been 3 years now and I’m still not over her

I think I’ve fallen in love with someone for the person they portrayed themselves to be but later found them to be completely different to that - that’s a hurtful thing to have to deal with

I might be a comfortably off guy, but I can't afford lurve! It's too dear, and can be twice the expense for half the fun, lust however is a different commodity all together and comes well within budgets.

We all know that cigarette packets carry a government health warning stating, "Smoking can seriously damage your health." Lurve should carry a similar warning stating, "Lurve can seriously damage your wealth."

I’ve been there too and unfortunately these days with all the dating apps that’s all too common, bullet points on how fun and care

Free they are with all their hobbies but in reality there’s nothing but drama and stress and craziness at the door

I don’t know what kind of women you go after, but you’ve made a few comments on posts about women being money grabbers.

I can stand my own round, and my flat is worth more than that of any other guy I’ve ever been out with.

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Yes, we're both in relationships but took our friendship to the next level and fell for each other. We've tried breaking it off but the feelings are strong and we're struggling. Haven't seen each other physically for a couple of months now but chat regularly. We know it has to end but not sure how it's going to work out.

This! I’m not interested in anyone’s money. And if they flaunt it it puts me off. We’re not all the same!

"With someone you shouldn’t have fallen in love with?

Me?

Of course the post is a shameless attempt to off load my pain by comparison?

She was my childhood sweetheart we married young had children and both developed successful careers through a lot of hard work.

Everything was rosy in the garden but she fell in love with a work colleague and told me on the Saturday and left the following Wednesday. I see her on a ad hoc basis but I should have never ever fallen in love with her.

20 years on it still hurts but it’s life and you live and learn!
