Hey, bit of a random thing to ask in a forum but I have a question for the couples who are in a relationships, if anyone can assist please.

I had a date recently and thought it went well however she mentioned that she didn’t find a romantic spark/ connection between us and would like to be friends.

Just wondered if this is something that only happens upon initial meeting or this is something which can develop?

Four dates in as many months recently and I heard the line ‘no romantic spark’ but to be honest I understood as I didn’t feel it either.

However on a blind date a few weeks ago we both did feel that spark. It wasn’t there at the start of the date but during the conversation (that flowed) I could feel that spark emerge. Probably as we shared so much in common.

Don’t think it’ll never happen, it most likely will, but when it does you’ll know and so will they.

Good luck

Nah, that’s it. She was at least polite enough to let you know instead of ghosting. No need to chase her.

Thanks everyone for your honest replies. Did think it was the case but thought I’d see if anyone experienced something like this and felt different with time.

I've had friends that turned into more. It is possible.

But it does sound like she's just being kind, sorry. Keep looking.
