Many years ago there was a chain of steak houses around the country and they would serve coffee in a glass with cream on top, loved it was a real luxury at the time lol. Drink coffee every day from china mugs, I am beginning to think folks don't realise you can make coffee at home for a few pence instead of spending a few pounds on a takeaway one lol.

When we used a cafetiere I always drank coffee from a home china cup and saucer. It tastes nicer somehow. Now we use a Nespresso machine mostly we have glass mugs

Yeah we got one of those type of machines but I got a some reusable pods from ebay so we grind our own beans and use them instead of the chuck away capsules I sort of got to thinking the plastic capsules were a bit naughty.

Yes, though my preferred mug for milky coffee is porcelain rather than bone china.

I use a different mug for different drinks and I get really anxious if I try to drink something out of the "wrong" mug.
