"I'm not strictly a cat person. But our 11 year old cat passed away this morning. I was actually gutted to hear the news, I was at work and was told by the Mrs. She used to curl up on my lap nearly every single night (the cat that is!), she'll be missed. Sorry to hear that OP, that's always a hard thing to go through

"Thank you all for your kind replies. But I'll tell you what sticks in my throat, the vets. She was rushed up to them, had a blood test, and some oxygen, but she passed on. For this we were charged well over £300. You bastards. We have next to no money, and my son had to pay. I shall reimburse him somehow. Veterinary's, how the fuck do you sleep at night. " I know it's hard and you're feeling down but you do also have to remember that vets are a business not charities and they have costs to cover. Try not to hold it against them, they provide an amazing service but one that ultimately still costs money

At least their patients can tell the doctor whats wrong with them, vets have to work things out themselves
