Are you one of the lucky ones that break up for work for a couple of weeks or are you like me where you still have to work over Christmas because you work in retail

Exactly like you, even though I do have from the 25th to the 28th off, which I honestly feel a little guilty about.

Nope. I’m also likely to be working at least one of Xmas day, Boxing Day or NYD

Thankfully I don’t work for a company that mandates I have to take X days off over the Xmas period

I worked more Christmases than not, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and NYE for 30 years. Even got called out one NYE and spent the night in a ladies toilet in the motorway services. Whole other story. Now I get to work what I like..
