That aside, I had the wisdom to book today off knowing the drop was inevitable. Shortly I'll be going to M and S and buying all the stuff for a roast dinner and watching dire, soppy Christmas films with a gingerbread iced latte. Only conceivable way to get through today.

Gutted, very gutted. Just going to wallow in self pity here for a bit don't mind me. But April!

The DD drops are worth it for the highs aren't they? Makes it all worthwhile. I hope yours passes soon though and you're overdosing on self care. xx

P.S Go mooch around Leeds! I've never been to Nottingham but Leeds is fantastic and has some brilliant vegan restaurants.

Back and leg pain. Waiting for a 2nd spine surgery...I've even sourced out cannabis oil illegally after many recommendations -and that hasn't helped either.

I'm seeing if I can scrape 7 grand together, somehow to get the operation done privately. That's what I've been quoted by a private surgeon..

Back and leg pain. Waiting for a 2nd spine surgery...I've even sourced out cannabis oil illegally after many recommendations -and that hasn't helped either.

I'm seeing if I can scrape 7 grand together, somehow to get the operation done privately. That's what I've been quoted by a private surgeon.. "

Ouch, that sounds painful! Will they not see you sooner? I wasn't in a good space mentally whilst waiting for an operation and I explained this to the surgeon on the phone. He got me in within 4 weeks after that phone call. It may be worth a try to ask?

I'm on an NHS "urgent referral" list, I've been told that means within 8 weeks, but that's for a consultation I think, not an actual procedure.

- Last procedure on the NHS took about 2 years to get, just the thought of that amount of time in this pain gives me suicidal thoughts.

You're not being negative. If you have the energy I would definitely try and ring or email asking to speak with the consultant/surgeon. They can't just leave people in severe pain and if they use covid as an excuse just explain that you aren't accepting that. People shouldn't suffer because of it. Sending love

Been to A&E already. Waited 13 hours, not a single doctor in the dept. Only 2 nurses overseeing everyone there.

I'm convinced my area has the worst public services in the country. ( its been like this before covid, btw)

My local mp was recently kicked off a plane for an air rage incident. People have advised me to to write to them: I think it would be completely pointless.

Got my car in pieces as it decided to throw a wobbly yesterday so I've got to post parts off to be repaired.

Walk to work for the afternoon/evening then back home to carry on sorting out the garage as it's a bombsite after moving house last week and then bed for a good night's sleep.

Wishing you all the best and rapid solutions and positive outcome as well as fast healthy recovery!!!!!, have been in similar situation but Thank God is sorted! what was helping is Codeine and horsebalm (extra strong one)

There is another strong painkiller but I don't think it possible to find in UK (Flector) but codeine and horsebalm is also was helping, I hope you get well very soon!!!!
