Forum hints and tips?

Hey x

I’ve been a lurker of the Forums since I joined the site but finally took the plunge to post last night now I’m in a 2 week break from work before Christmas

So I’m a bit nervous about fitting in as a noob especially as nobody else knows about my dressing up kink but from what I’ve seen the forums are a fun friendly place!

But what tips and hints can you give anyone like me who might be lurking but too afraid to join in? What are the best ways to get on and make friends in the forums and hang around for a long time?

Thank you

Keep to the more lighthearted topics at first.

Expect that your comments will appear to be ignored. So if you make a point and nobody quotes you, that happens but it will be seen.

If you say something and realise afterwards that it was wrong or you now see someone else’s point, don’t be shy in admitting it.

Grammar police …ignore them

What’s that got to do with joining in on the forums?

Quite a few forum regulars have hidden profiles, it doesn’t seem to affect their use of the forums.

it’s a great point when I come to meet and I know the profile is currently lacking. I will be expanding it in the new year when looking to meet. At the moment I’m just looking to enjoy the forums in the run up to Christmas but I do appreciate the advice and agree with it

Watch out for the wind up merchants. I keep s mental list of them and avoid getting sucked in. Easily spotted by such phrases as 'Where's your peer reviewed evidence?'.

One of the most prolific has been missing for some weeks!
