Christmas cards

Do you enjoy giving out Christmas cards?

Cards to your nearest and dearest, cards to the family.

And, then there are friends, work colleagues, the neighbours, the list goes on.

How could I almost forget the 30 kids in your child's classroom

Or do you sit there with a pile of cards staring at you, and feeling depressed at the thought of writing them all out?

Do you no longer write cards.

Maybe you donate to charity instead.

Me..I get around to it eventually....though I have been known to post the neighbours cards on Christmas eve

I stopped doing cards a long time ago, I only get them for the immediate people close to me now. A lot of time, effort and money for them all to be the in bin by new year.

I don't send any. Nor do I donate to make up for it.

I don't have time and I work for a charity as it is.

I buy them for my sons and a couple of special people but that's it

I love chosing, writing and sending cards.

I mainly buy charity cards, this year some I've bought are from a Sjogrens Syndrome charity, hoping to educate people lol.

I think my Christmas card list is running at six this year.

I don’t see the point in giving them to all and sundry, and I’ve never been one for just doing it to reciprocate.

I know people who will give a last minute card to someone just because they received one.

I do like cards but don’t like the task of doing them. I mainly do family and close friends and then immediate neighbours

I still send them to friends and

family, I won't send them to work people, we work for a charity so I'll put a donation in one of our charity tins instead.

I still write and send Christmas cards…..

I like nice cards and I send them to family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours etc and it’s also my once a year opportunity to say ‘Thank you’ to those clients who support me throughout the year at work.

It’s a gesture I think is worth hanging on to (all be the expense) as for someone me it’s a once a year opportunity to stay in touch! ( not everybody likes text!)

I can’t be arsed with the kerfuffle. The politics behind the whole who you’re sending to vs who you receive from bollocks.

I prefer to just let everyone be offended that they’re not on my list.

I love cards and send quite a few. I usually buy the expensive cards when they are half price in the January sales. I do grudge the price of stamps as alot of my cards are for friends and family down south.

With the rise in use of social media and the instant connections we have cards are a waste of time and money and they just end up in the bin.

I prefer to donate to charity, or sponsor a goat instead.

I don't send cards there is enough waste out there so I don't want to add to it. I have even asked people not to send me any
