Hi guys,

Not posted to forum before and hope this is the right place.

Having a little one has meant Xmas and New year has had us sitting in front of the television. Now the little one is old enough to free us up we were thinking of getting away for a few days.

Question is, we have never been to a hotel over NYE. do they have a party? Do they stay open late?

We just want to get away, meeting a similar couple would be a bonus.

We are probably thinking of south coast.

Only stayed in a hotel over NYE once and that was in a ski resort. Best advice would be to pick a few hotels you like the look of in the area you want and phone them to ask what the deal is over that period.

Some hotels have parties, some have gala dinners, some will simply offer the room.

Decide on what you'd like, and the area you'd like to stay in, and have a look at the options available online.

You'll usually pay a premium for an NYE stay.
