" That’s a good idea, although I don’t think that she’s into nail varnish and lip gloss yet. She’s a young 11 if that makes sense. Maybe that’s why she is hard to buy for? | |||

" If you have a good local bookstore, and she likes reading, going in and saying "I'm looking for a book for X age who enjoys Y genre" can produce almost miraculous results. My dad did this and always came back with some incredible books. "Dad's book bag" was my favourite part of Christmas. | |||
