How often do you wash your brew cup at work.

My nan’s spare room.

After every brew, the end of the day, the end of the week?

Or like me does the inside of your cup look like there’s been an industrial spillage

End of the day usually but I've worked with people who just never clean theirs and have been genuinely angry when someone else cleaned it for them

I hear you on the cup thing, I remember bleaching my Dad's tea cup once, he was not happy saying that his tea would never taste the same

I learnt very quickly you can't have a cup of tea at work without making one for everyone in sight. Long story short, I'm now the person who 'doesn't drink tea'.

I take mine home once a month and bleach it other than that it’s rinsed when it needs it.

Although my definition of needs maybe different to others.

We have a coffee machine with disposable cups where I work now. Bit at the last place I just swish hot water round before making a cuppa. And wipe over with blue roll now and then to get dirty finger prints off.

My work mate mug was dreadful though, it had more culture than he did lol

Bleach, in a cup?

The rough side of a sponge should suffice

I handwash it and dry it, I couldn't tolerate a dirty cup.

But that same thing has probably touched loads of other mugs and is also stained because Dave just had to use it to wash his pasta dish out with!

I work from home. I’m a sod for getting a new cup everytime I make a coffee … but then I just bang them all in the dishwasher anyway so it’s ok

I rinse after every drink and then I waste ten mins at the end of the day, slowly washing it and reading the same health and safety poster for the zillionth time

As long as mine was clean I wasn't much bothered about everyone elses. Some of them were spectacularly filthy though.

It's interesting how people's standards at work are so much different than at home. The communal kitchens were sometimes gross and I was the only one in the office who regularly cleaned my desk, keyboard and phone. They'd laugh at my pack of wipes .

I used serviced co-working space, so I change it pretty much every cup. Might rinse and reuse it if I can be bothered.

After every brew. I can't stand to drink out of a cup that has tea rings in it, even if I'm the only person drinking out of it so they're my tea rings.

They make me feel a little bit peculiar.

Once a week when the book keeper comes in. She always has a clean up before she starts. Probably the most expensive cleaner ever.
