What’s on your mind?

Manchester (he/him)

It’s Thursday morning and I’m sat in bed contemplating coffee. I’ve been awake for a little while trying to organise my thoughts and to find the motivation to get out of bed.

Beyond the day to day noise, something is nibbling at my mind, I can’t quite put my finger on it yet though.

What’s on your mind dear fabbers?

Nothing substantial. And it's a relief. I don't want anything eating me. Just how not to miss an important parcel as I'm out and about in the time slot assigned (3h!). Hope Postman has sense to use my ring bell.. rather than taking it back to the sorting office.

I'm sat on the edge of the bed contemplating a cuppa.

My mind is working in overdrive.. I'm still busy with work, taking Mr to see a surprise tonight, I'm not feeling too wonderful and the kids are sick again

I've been up silly o clock here, it's a mix of excitement, slight trepidation and happiness. My mind is whirring away as ever but my main thing is how difficult it is to attach pine cones to a wreath. And wrapping presents. And a hundred other things that are too personal and inane.

My mind is full and going at a million miles per hour. Thinking about someone while trying not to over think and just trying to enjoy our friendship. I’m wondering if the baby will sleep today so I can get the wrapping and chores done. I then feel guilty that I want him to sleep rather than enjoying his new found personality. And I’m also thinking about what I need to pack as I’m away with the baby Friday night and then back to host a family party Sunday, which I need to also plan for

I've been stressed the last couple of weeks and am just coming out the other side of it now which is great.

I watched a really sad film last night and it made me cry sooooo much. I'm not a big Cryer so I'm feeling a bit wiped out. I'd like to go back to bed once I've dropped the tiddler off, but that's not an option sadly.

Don't feel guilty, they're time consuming little things and wanting some time to yourself is not a bad thing. You got this

If I said what’s on my mind we could be here all day OP.

I am contemplating many things about my life and the direction it’s taking.

I am questioning where I am investing myself and if that investment is actually worth the effort, I won’t let anyone devalue my worth but the effort to keep fighting is taking its toll

Anal..... I know shocking revelation. Course you will have all jumped the gun and think that I feel like anal sex but ........... nope.

I've just read through two threads about anal and they've left me feeling uncomfortable....

Think i'll make a mini list of things to do ..... in the right order.... in nice handwriting ...... on pretty paper.

Or watch some extreme anal porn....

Okay I lied about the last part.

It doesn't sound pretentious in the slightest. Neuro-diversity is fascinating, challenging at times and so many other things. No two NDs are alike, it's such a broad spectrum that we're only beginning to understand now. So yes, far from pretentious.

I live with it so normally it's just part of life but sometimes more things come up and I get deep in the detail.

And now … that I don’t know what neuro-diversity is … and feel bad again about the wasted TikTok time lol x
