Kidney stones

Had these ongoing problems over the last 25years, with the pain, scans and interesting camera investigations that go with them

9 years ago, the last scan showed a large 10mm stone in the left side. Earlier this year I went in with the ominous throb telling me I was in for another investigation and expecting the worst ..but Lo! ..no stones either side?!!

Just a slight kidney infection the doctor said??

Where did the big one go? Could it have been a dodgy scan or someone else's? Could it have eroded naturally?

I have a theory..

Last 5 or so years I've been drinking straight orange and lemon juice whenever theres been a fruit cake session in the kitchen ..save them just going in the bin after being grated just for the zest.

Anyway, my theory seems reasonable, to me at least? ..the acid in the juice washing the kidneys through?

Can anyone here with any experience/qualification comment on this please? I can't see any other reason how the old stone could otherwise have vanished??

Good for you op and your theory and I hope that they stay away from you forever!!!

I’ve got one at the moment which for two weeks I thought was just a bad back but two ago BANG!!!! She wasn’t happy on her journey out and fucked me over big style.

Screaming crying end of days her pain was so bad but a tablet which sounds like power rangers that I had left over from the last bastard helped calm the pain.

I’ve had three no pain days but this morning she wasn’t happy again but again the morph power rangers sorted it.

I hate them and I also fucking hate them a lot.

So if you trick works for you then all power to you.

Forgot to say, try not to drink the pure juice through your teeth ..it eats tooth enamel

Hopefully something to try for any other 'Stoners' out there ..may you never have to suffer again

I've felt your pain! Your tablets are just painkillers though? Or were they to attack the stones?

Limes are another possibility to try make the drink more palatable ..but then again it's not to taste is it.

Anything to blast the little fockers!
