Somewhere In The Ether…

When I was a kid, I was always filled with excitement to open up the successive doors each day.

Back then, there were just pictorial ones but over time they’re now stuffed with chocolates and all other manner of surprises, from coffee to toiletries.

Time to don your thinking caps everyone: What would make for the very best themed advent calendar?

The old fashioned chocolates with liqueur in them. Think they had things like Sherry in them? They were very tasty

My best friend had one before we got one.

We used to keep the same one every year, as there wasn't any chocolate behind the doors.

There were Christmas pictures of doves, angels and the baby Jesus.

I remember a few years ago I ordered a calendar that featured naked and erect men. It was delivered to my neighbour by mistake who opened it.

It was a tad awkward when he came round to deliver it to it’s rightful owner lol.

I found it hilarious
