Who fits a skylight? Is it a roofer or a window person? I’m buying one and just realised that I don’t know who fits them!

Thats not a daft question. A daft question would be would my dog fit a skylight if I gave it tuna?

A roofer I would say. Purely because our window guy at work said he can't fit one and we will need a roofer.

It is not a daft question and I will tell you why !

I said to my window fitter ... 'and will you check my skylight please. ' and he said ......

'Is it leaking?' No says I.......

Then DONT TOUCH IT....... says he, and anyway a ROOFER does that.

So im settling for ...... If I thought it was a window fitter YOU are not asking daft questions.

You can often fit them from the inside without needing to go outside at all, so scaffolding isn’t needed.

Im not sure of the size, he removed my old one, put new one in and fixed some tiles... £750 all in
