I always try to keep my shoes clean and prefer to polish them with the tinned polish rather than the liquid types, am I old fashioned ?

"I always try to keep my shoes clean and prefer to polish them with the tinned polish rather than the liquid types, am I old fashioned ? "

No, the liquid types fuck your shoes up over time as they will dry out, so will parade gloss for that matter. So stick to what you're doing, especially if you have expensive shoes.

It's the same reason as to why I make my own condoms from sheep's intestines from the local butcher, modern living is rubbish and I refuse to be any part of it

Well polished shoes show you care about your appearance.

Take a tip from an ex-Serviceman - use 'Kiwi' shoe polish, shines up well.

The inside of a banana skin is good for shinning shoes if you run out of polish.

Are you describing the art of polishing shoes, or your boner.

I also use Kiwi Parade Gloss, it is the best shoe polish I've used. A nice, well polished pair of shoes or boots always look smart and show that you take a bit of pride.
