I went out to lunch the other day with a client, it was a nice restaurant. When we got there the guy just ordered for both of us without asking what I wanted. I didn't even get a chance to open the menu!

It's never happened before, and I didn't really think it happened. I've seen it in films etc. I was shocked and didn't know what to say so just went with it. Cheek was I was paying!!

The meal was lovely (steamed seabass with garlic and chilli)

How would you feel about it?

I would have stopped him there and then and insisted I would like to see the menu and order for myself!

Can't stand people walking over me.

Maybe he saw you as his bitch and feel obligated to take control. Was he a good shag?

No shagging involved. Lol but I did get the outcome I wanted.

I have had some wonderful meals by letting someone who knows the restaurant recommend the food, and the wine to go with...

I would be happy...

I think I'd quite like being taken to a nice restaurant and being ordered for, providing the person taking ne knows me well enough to be confident in ordering something I would like but maybe challenging my palette slightly.

Not so sure it's right for a business meeting as I sew it more of a date type thing to do lol
