"Can a guy be too nice? As the old saying goes Nice guys finish last. " They don’t with me. I’ve had my fair share of arseholes and I’d much rather knock around with a nice guy.

"You can't ever be too nice. You can be a doormat though and that's turn off. There's a big difference between the two. " Yea I agree

"I don’t understand this concept. I like nice humans. " People usually say too nice instead of you’re overbearing/smothering me because it sounds nicer

"I don’t understand this concept. I like nice humans. People usually say too nice instead of you’re overbearing/smothering me because it sounds nicer " Exactly.. but I’m very literal so I’d say and put those kind in a different category. I’ve never not liked someone for being genuinely nice..

"Mixed responses on here. I’ll just keep being myself and if I come over as nice or not, I’m still being me." Best thing to do otherwise people will see straight through you....

"Like many things, if you have to remind people that you are nice it's usually a good sign that isn't the image you are projecting. In the same way that calling yourself an alpha means you definitely aren't one, calling yourself nice or decent or genuine can often be interpreted as being anything but. Actions speak louder than words." I always seem to agree with your words

"Umm, my first instinct was to say ‘no’, a guy could never be too nice. However if they were a complete walkover, it might affect how others treat them. And may lead to a lack of respect, which isn’t attractive in itself." Is being too nice correlated to being a walk over or is that down to lack of self esteem?
