… after you’ve sent a face pic are enough for you to seriously start to consider yourself ugly? This happens to me a lot, I get to 2nd base with a fabber (they message me or reply), then ghost me once they see the face pic.

This place really chips away at your self confidence after a while.

Yes. I mean a polite “thanks, but no thanks” would be good.

I get why it doesn’t always happen, but it can have a real impact on a person’s mental health.

I don’t particularly need them to say “thanks but no thanks”, as the end result is the same.

Mostly men facing this.. not good for the state of mind..

The face is an important part. I don't care what someone looks like, but I do like to be attracted. I would say it may not be that you're ugly but thats always going to be the thought it would put in your mind. As the gent said above dude, maybe it would be a good idea? It's why I stuck my mug on there

None is the answer. You shouldn't let anyone make you doubt yourself or make you feel like your not good enough. Everyone has people who will find them attractive and people who don't, it's just the way of attraction.

I have been blocked after sending one, ignored after sending one and the worst one slowly disappear instead of being honest. It's a kick in the gut for a second but it doesn't effect my life. People need to learn to seperate the two and have some self love for a change.

Nothing anyone says can be worse than what we tell ourselves sometimes. Give yourself a break

I said they message me, as in they message first. Also, I’ve had a few reply requesting a face pic, when I attached it to the original message

Let nobody chip away at your confidence. We all cant be everybodies type. I have sent pics and got "stunning eyes" which is softening ....eh pity bout the rest of your face lol. I dont care tbh. Be you....be fab and dont let it get you down x

Well I’m sure you must be someones cup of tea…..

It’s tough on here for guys.

I must admit sometimes I see pics and think not for me then see in person and think differently.

Go to socials and clubs and meet people in person. It’s much better if you ask me

This isn't just a single guy thing, it's no different for couples.

it's a numbers game, a no is just another no closer to a yes.

As above, organised socials and clubs are a much better way for introductions and contacts
