As a man who's vertically inclined it's sometimes difficult to get dates. How much does height affect in choosing someone?

Everyone is taller than me anyway so it's not an issue. I don't want anyone smaller than me as I'm not into elves or borrowers.

You're taller than most women, so I wouldn't let your height bother you. It's not something you can change.

There's plenty of women who aren't bothered what height a chap is.

My current sub is only marginally shorter than me, while my wife is a bit shorter still.

Height doesn’t matter much when they are laying down and you are stood up.

So fuckin weird, I'm tall but I think the same thing only with body type. 'If I had a better body' etc. But thats only when I look at myself. So why do we focus on these things?

Keep on man, just have to walk taller, if ya dig

Height seems to be important to a lot of ladies here. But if it makes you feel any better, I’m a taller chap and I have no luck on here these days

Im 5'6 and usually wear 6" heels so my preference is a 6 foot plus man. But 5 10 and above is fine.

I’ve found it’s only women who are on the taller size that it really matters for. I’ve been told that a lady likes to feel smaller next to a man so if a mans shorter then them they feel self conscious about their size.

More to do with how they feel rather than the man.

It is what it is?? Generally a ladies height make no difference to me. As long as your confident in you’re skin that’s all that matters.

I’ve dated 5ft girls and 6ft girls. Both are great!

I like a guy to be taller than me. Doesn’t have to be loads but a little is good.

As a vertically gifted guy I can't say it's brought me any great success here, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I’ve never had any issues.

I do tend to attract shorter men. I have no preference regarding a fellas height, but I do prefer much shorter guys to be stocky.

Whenever I've met someone on Bumble or Tinder the first two questions (even before 'how are you') are:

How much do you earn?

How tall are you?

So yes it seems to be pretty important to most people.

The debate is that asking a man his height is exactly the same as asking a woman her weight. Only one is acceptable and one is not.

You realise vertically inclined is a PC way to say tall right?

I thought this. I think he means vertically challenged.

Height doesn’t bother me. I’m 5ft6 ish maybe 7. I’ve been with guys who are 5’3 and up to 6’5.

Honestly from speaking to women (who tell the truth and don't necessarily put up a facade) height is a really big thing. Plus there are lots of studies that show women like taller guys. It's deeply psychological tbh, women equate height to masculinity, it's the same thing with a guy who looks strong. It's not necessarily the aesthetics that women like, it's what it conveys. Height, a muscular built says to a woman this guy can protect her. Sometimes it's subconscious. This is stuff hard wired into our evolution as a species.

Hope that helps your understand the deeper meaning behind these things.

It's never just one particular thing with ladies. It's not just height, they have to find you attractive as well. I think the mistake we guys make is we tend to isolate each thing. For me I look at it like this. Women use height as a filter, after height, comes built, then face, then personality etc.

Hope that makes some sense

"We are all the same size when we are lying down fucking"

This really isn't true. Lmao. Vast Differences in size make some positions difficult/uncomfortable to do.
