There have been several posts this week by me and others about having a specific type.

So my questions are do you have your specific type on your profile?

Are you afraid to put up that type of info because you're afraid it will turn off people?

Do you have a type that you feel comfortable sharing in the forums?

Hi op. I don’t have a definitive type when it comes to looks - as long as I find them attractive and they’re in decent physical shape that’s fine.

When it comes to personality we have to really click - so generally they need to be good conversationalists, nice people and fun to be around. To meet regularly they have to be at least reasonably intelligent.

Oh - and stamina in bed matters too as quickies aren’t my thing.

Needless to say - I don’t get a shag very often!

My 'type' is mostly personality traits.. respectful, easy going, great sense of humour and just a good person. Without these, I can't pursue any kind of a relationship with someone. Physical traits are not so much deal breakers but facial hair, a cheeky smile and broad shoulders get bonus points for sure.

No, I don't think I have a type really. There are certain traits I like (personality wise, aesthetically I definitely do). I like passionate, needy people and those who make me feel good in their company/about myself but it's more nuanced than that.

I don't really care about putting it in the forums. I'm a fussy* mare and only meet a couple of people (at most!) a year - it won't harm my chances.

I hate it when ppl say "i dont have a type" but then go off to list all the qualities of a person they love most.

Like no that is your type, youre just not exclusively bound to that one type.

Like i have a type, curvy, big breasts, dark hair, intelligent, but will i only go for that one type of woman? No i go by who im attracted to regardless of their physical features and/or personality

Being genuine is a good start; no catfish, fake profiles, photo collectors, men pretending to be women, women pretending to be other women, fake photos, fake veri’s etc. as if we cannot trust them to be honest with us then we cannot trust them with what we get up to.

Next is personality, attitude and willingness to try new things.

Looks and physicality are low down on our list of priorities, as ultimately everyone looks the same with snot and tears running down their face.

Physically, I definitely have a body type that I prefer...tall, broad shoulders, toned/muscular.

That said, it's all about the face for me, so the above goes out of the window if I don't want to snog their face off. No real set type on face though, I either like it or I don't...and first look tells me, there's none of this "they get more attractive if I like them as a person" malarkey.

I could tell you some celebrities that I think are ‘pretty fit’ and they all look different. Buys that’s just an image thing I see. But when you get to know people, again, I am attracted to lots of different people.

There is one constant though. I think they are pretty. And that’s only a matter of taste to an individual.

Over the years I've become very detailed about my type, from facial bone structure and shape, to ears, hair (with hair I just like it to be long ) lips, smile (a nice smile and proper teeth is a must) And dimples are a bonus, I'm a sucker for a woman with a nice smile and dimples.

Since coming to the UK I have a thing for eye colour now as well lol.

I know, I'm fussy or picky but I know what turns me and what makes me interested. However I don't ever ask a woman to have something I don't have, I have a nice smile (perfect white teeth) dimples, nice lips etc and as for eyes, will be rocking some nice hazel.

So I'm not one of those guys who wants a woman to be perfect and they are lacking.

Something about them. positive natural and flowing, tons laughs. Not too way Critical.

somebody who maybe can see and look beyond a "Book cover" so to speak.

But I am Dumb founded, how on earth do you tell if any profile's personality, voice likes dislikes are any compatible or non.

I like to have a chat on the phone hear a voice,laugh a little. Then meet for a drink face to face old skool style!!

I'm not sure everyone really knows exactly what their type is, best to browse, chat and start to find out that way, you could have a type then that person be an absolute idiot in many forms. I'd rather hit it off with someone I considered to not be my type than be treated like crap by someone who is my type and me put up with it because they are my type if that makes sense.
