"Last week couldn't make it because I had horrible insomnia and my gym isnt 24/7. This week I was down with the cold. I'm literally itching to try and sneak in a sesh this weekend if I'm feeling better lol. To my fellow gym goers, how long can you stay away from the gym before the itch to go overtakes your rationale thinking? " Why go to the gym when your home can be the gym, your body as the weights and the various stuff inside your home can be the equipment I just mentioned on another thread i do bodyweight exercises and you can totally do everything in your workout at home without equipment

But during lockdown this year I did manage to get into the best shape of my life using a weighted vest, a dip station and a pull up bar. Just had a lot of rotten luck this year, got hit by a car (a Range Rover no less) and been down with the cold cold few times, so my workout routine hasn't been the most disciplined in the past 4 months tbh

My advice would be to work on some easier stuff that doesnt require a great deal of effort just to keep the muscle fibers active. Its sucks a big one when you make all that hard work and then lose some of it acter your routine takes a knock

"I wish I had that itch to continuously go to the gym…I have the opposite problem where I need someone to drag me there!!! The motivation to get back in there really is a hard one " I'll drag you there if you like but what I'd really prefer to do is throw you over my shoulder and carry you there.
