Insomnia and a messed up sleep schedule from work. Being an engineer on call and doing shifts messes up your sleep, if you don’t adjust well to it.

I don't know whether it's insomnia. As I have no problem going to sleep. But when I hit the 5 hour mark. Its like someone as switch the lights on. I wake up and no chance of getting back off to sleep.

Awake because I made the fatal mistake of going to bed at ten o'clock last night, having had a non stop day from 4.30 yesterday morning, when my mum's stair lift decided that it had a mind of its own.
