Has anyone ever had a tattoo removed? I’d it as painful as it’s reported? Does it ever completely get rid of it?

Gets rid of it over the sessions, is like sunburn, annoying and sore

I’ve heard it’s quite painful!! That’s why it needs to be done over a certain period of time. If it’s as painful as laser hair removal on the boney parts, then lawdddddd. Help you! x

That gets me crying

I had around 12 sessions, it wasn't too painful, they started off at a low power for the first one then increased power each session, no more uncomfortable than having the tattoo.

Also, mine was standard blue ink and as all gone, I have a few tiny scar like marks that are hardly noticeable. They did say coloured inks such as red or yellow are harder to remove completely, that may have changed if the technology is better now.

My mate says it hurts more than getting tattooed. He just gets them zapped to paler then covers it with a new tattoo.

I'm going through the process on my wrist/inner forearm, it's really not that bad and I wouldnt say it's any worse than having a tattoo.

For me, it feels like being splashed with hot cooking oil, and then quite sore for about a week after. It's not unbearable, but painful
